Just in time for the release of FIFA 23, build a rocket announces a two-year partnership with the German Football Association (DFB). The goal of the collaboration is to make the eFootball section of the world's largest sports federation even more visible.

The DFB has agreed on a comprehensive partnership with the Cologne-based agency build a rocket, which will support the federation in the strategic alignment and support of all its eFootball channels.

Over the next two years, build a rocket will help the association further establish its position as a force to be reckoned with in national eFootball and continue to act as a central point of contact for the German-speaking community. The esports agency, which has been part of the international sports business agency SPORTFIVE since last year, has more than 20 years of experience in Esports and gaming and has already worked with partners such as Santander, SAP and KitKat. This expertise will now be used to translate target group and channel-specific concepts and content into a long-term strategy together with the DFB, and to drive the professionalization of eFootball community.

"After a great start by the DFB in eFootball, the task now is to give the strong commitment even more visibility. Our goal is to tell the most exciting stories from the world of eFootball and to involve the community even more," says Alexander Albrecht, Managing Director at build a rocket. "In this context, the topics eNationalteam, ePokal and community tournaments are in the foreground and offer us a great playing field to develop authentic social media activations together with the DFB and get fans excited about eFootball."

The DFB's eFootball platform launched in March 2020. In addition to the eNational team, the division also includes the DFB ePokal powered by ERGO, in which both amateur teams and professional eFootball players from all over Germany compete, as well as various community tournaments.
